Iceland Splashmap - the story

I saw this map on the Splashmap website the other week.

Splashmaps are maps printed onto fabric. I have one of the Norfolk Broads which I received when I was working as an OS Get Outside Champion.

The Splashmap team posted a picture of a new map of Iceland Splashmap.

Using our new membership with the International Map Industry Association, we sourced outstanding cartography through IDNU’s Heiðar Svansson (pictured), featuring a stunning 1:500k scale map of Iceland. Too good to stay on paper, we transformed it into a durable SplashMap—overlaying Dermot’s exact route and the logo of his chosen cause.

I ordered my map and here it is - it's excellent and I will use it out in the field with groups when I am working there for Rayburn Tours.
