While I was in Iceland last year, we had an incident near the south coast road where a tourist was killed when a rock hit their hire car. We passed by the day after and saw the flashing warning lights at the point where the rock had fallen.
The same thing has happened again, but this time without anyone being injured.
Another story describes some foreign visitors on the roof of their car in a river in þorsmork...
That looks very flat for a rockfall?! Where has the rock fallen from?
