I've never experienced this before the recent trip I made to Iceland with Rayburn Tours.
Flyover Iceland is located down in the Harbour area, where there are several newly built attractions.
It involves sitting in a seat in a block of 10 (there are 4 of these in total). This moves forward, tilts forward and back and pivotes left and right to track the movement of a swooping film shot by helicopter which visits a number of dramatic locations across Iceland - not all of which will be familiar to the casual or first time visitor, but all of which are spectactular.
These are displayed on a 20 metre spherical screen and you sit there, "flying" into the landscape. Going through clouds results in a mist of water sprayed on your face, and the scents of the plants you fly over.
