Go to the Icelandic Veður website and you can download the latest hazard map for volcanic activity.
This one was posted at the start of the month and shows the levels of risk, subject to a resumption of more serious volcanic activity. You can see the area of recent eruptions and lava flows, which have required significant management investment to protect infrastructure including the Blue Lagoon and its approach roads, and stabilised the situation in Grindavik.
