The 1st of May is when I arrive into Iceland with my school later this year.
This is Labour Day or Workers' Day - a public holiday in Iceland which means most businesses are closed.
It's called Verkalýðsdagurinn.
It's also a Flag Day so you can expect to see lots of Icelandic flags everywhere.
