Góa is an Icelandic chocolate company named after the second month of the old Norse calendar that signals the beginning of Spring. They have a factory in Hafnarfjörður which is on the road out to the airport, and which most school groups will pass. I wonder whether they do school visits? May be a good addition to itineraries if they do...
They make a number of products, but my favourite is Hraun, which is the Icelandic word for lava. This is available in milk and dark-chocolate versions - bars and chunks. I always stock up when I head out there and fill up any available space in my suitcase.
