The employees showed a professional and good response, says Helga Árnadóttir, manager of the Blue Lagoon.She says that the situation was carefully reviewed with the guests upon arrival and how evacuation would be done. Guests can stay at other hotels, whether in Keflavík or in the capital area, depending on what suits them.
Helga says that the Blue Lagoon's establishments will normally be closed today and further decisions will be made in consultation with the authorities.
