The dangers of one of Iceland's most beautiful mountains: Kirkjufell were once again in the news within the last few months with injuries to tourists who underestimate the difficulties of the path towards the summit.
Many visitors to Iceland are unaware of the risks they face at many of the locations they visit, and there has been a toughening of signage since the pandemic.
