Checking out the route of the path to the Nátthagi lavas from the Geldingadalir / Meradalir lavas from 2021 and August 2022 and there is a useful set of 360 aerial panorama images here.
The path is quite clear from Volcano Parking #2 which we will visit on the final day of my upcoming visit to Iceland.
