This is a beach which I always worry about visiting when I have students in tow.
The basaltic columns are a great place for a group photo and the tide times can be checked before visiting as well. I was fortunate last week that it was low tide so the cave could be accessed along with the unconformity which is just beyond the main cave.
The black sand is well worth feeling as well - and the film connections were strong as well.
