Nov 4: Skyr

Five years ago today, I was at Efstidalur, the Ice Cream, farm. They make rather fine ice cream, serve excellent food and also have a display on various products.

One of them is the famous Icelandic 'yoghurt' called Skyr. This can now be bought in the UK, although it tends to be made in the UK, and isn't quite the same as the original product. The display explained how this is made.
