Iceland Travel is a tour operator, based in Iceland. Many companies are suffering at the moment as a result of Coronavirus, and STA: one of the companies that used to take students to the country has become an early casualty. Others are taking advantage of income support schemes such as the furloughing scheme to explore ways to avoid redundancies and job losses.All Iceland travel is operating at much reduced demand at the moment, although cases remain relatively low compared with other countries due to restricting entry to the country and an efficient track and trace system, which was then ignored by some overseas visitors who started to spread cases.
