I've been working a little bit to develop links with the what3words team and we had a visit from Jack Waley-Cohen earlier in the year.
The latest updates includes a camera which will add the three word address of the location where the photo was taken, addresses in different languages (although not Icelandic yet) and other new features.
Here's a story which shows another way of reaching someone.
It describes a letter which was sent to a remote address in Iceland back in 2016.
It included a map to show the location of a remote farm, but obviously provided enough information to get the letter to Budardalur.
Could you draw a similar envelope to allow someone to find your own house, or perhaps one of your favourite Icelandic destinations instead?
