This wonderful image was taken by Ben King.It's part of a thread he put together for a virtual fieldtrip as his planned trip to Iceland had to be cancelled.
The image was taken at the Hotel Laxarbakki.
This looks to be a rather lovely place to stay - never been there.

It promises free wi-fi, hot tub and sauna, all of which sounds good.
I think we'd all like to walk out through that emergency exit and into the landscape beyond.
