May 10: Rural Tourism Webinar from DtW

If you missed Sarah Rimington's webinar on Rural Tourism in Iceland you can catch it again here.
Sarah is an Area Manager in Discover the World Education's team.
We have bumped into each other regularly at conferences and local network events numerous times over the last ten years or so.

The webinar explores some interesting aspects of rural tourism in Iceland and there is a range of very useful references for those who want to explore further. I was interested in the Purism scale - I think I'm a bit of a purist.
Sarah has added a range of useful references at the end, so this is definitely a CPD style webinar rather than purely information.

Following the webinar, I took a look at some of the work of Katrin Lund, which was referenced here, and it is excellent for those exploring cultural links to tourism and sense of place.
