Jan 30: Devon Geography blog - a useful source of information...

DevonGeography is the blog of Paul Berry, a friend of mine who works as a Field Studies Tutor for Rayburn Tours, who have been featured on the blog previously as one of the companies operating in Iceland. He also led rather a lot of field trips during a long teaching career - something he talked about at some memorable GA Conference Teachmeets.

He tweets about a number of subjects, but has added over 20 posts which are specifically related to Iceland and which are worth reading. Earlier this week, on the blog, .he reported on increasing tectonic activity in the Reykjanes Peninsula, an area that many tour groups visit near either the beginning or the end of their stay in Iceland, as it lies close to the airport.

Follow DevonGeography for more on Paul's travels, and for additional Icelandic ideas to support your teaching and/or preparation for your own visits to the country.

I'm hoping Paul will also contribute a few guest posts as the year develops....
